building for business program

Ready to build, or expand, your business?  The Building for Business Program is for people, or organizations, interested in acquiring commercial or industrial property through the Summit County Land Bank.  Additional information and application materials are available below.

Submitting an application for the Building for Business Program will notify the Summit County Land Bank of your interest in acquiring property, but does not guarantee the Summit County Land Bank will approve the application, acquire any property, or sell any property to the applicant.



how to submit your application

  2. Submit the program application, along with the required application fee along with any additional required documents

Application materials can be submitted electronically, via email, to Jim Davis at jjdavis@summitlandbank.org, or can be delivered or mailed to the Summit County Land Bank at 1180 South Main Street, Suite 230, Akron, Ohio 44301.  Application materials submitted electronically will not be considered until the application fee has been received.  If delivering an application in person, staff may not be available to answer questions without an appointment. 

For properties already owned by the Summit County Land Bank, an Interest & Offer form must accompany the application materials, in order to be considered.  To make an appointment, please contact Jim Davis at the contact information listed below.
